Mindy and Dan--August 21, 2010
On August 21, I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding with Kristen of Kristen Murphy Photography and it was a blast! I actually worked with the groom, Dan, at Sears. Dan and Mindy were so laid back and so much fun to get to work with. Their wedding day was gorgeous out and full of sun! Their ceremony was at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Manhattan and their reception was at the Houston Street Ballroom. Thank you Kristen for letting me help capture Dan and Mindy's big day. Congrats to Dan and Mindy and good luck in the future! Here are some of my favorites from the day and you can view more here.

Tyler & Monica are Married!!!
Monica and Tyler tied the knot on July 24, 2010. This wedding was very special to me since Monica is my best friend and I have known Tyler is practically a brother to me. It was even more special because I was Monica's Maid of Honor. We started the morning out at Head First Salon in Wamego. We then headed to the church to get ready and start taking pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony we headed over to the K-State Campus and University Gardens to take some fun pictures. Their reception was at the Wareham Opera House on Poyntz. It was a fun filled day with friends and family. Congratulations Monica and Tyler and good luck in the future! Here are some of my favorites from their big day:

Ewing-Plucinik Wedding!
I had the opportunity to shoot another wedding with La Brisa Photography this past Saturday. It was a gorgeous day outside. Not to mention a gorgeous church filled with amazingly fun people! They started the day out getting their hair and makeup done at Family Haircutters in Wamego.
There was even some time to sit down and read a story while waiting...

Their rings were absolutely gorgeous! Here are my favorite ring shots:

I love when brides and grooms decide to do a first look before the ceremony. They were both so excited to see each other...and I was even more excited to see them see each other for the first time on their wedding day. It also gave us ample time to take pictures!

Their ceremony was at the St Joseph Catholic Church in Flush. This church was built in 1900 and is absolutely gorgeous inside. It has amazing stained glass windows! This was a very special moment for Bethany...having her Dad walk her down the aisle...

Who doesn't love bubbles?!?

This is the Maid of Honor, Alicia and her best friend Heather...aren't they gorgeous?

This cake was so gorgeous! Love the details and especially love the flowers on it.

I love that Jason and Bethany included so many things that were "them" I especially love that since their first date was at Baskin Robbins, they thought it would be special to have Baskin Robbins ice cream at their wedding. They had several flavors for guests to choose from...what a great idea!

First dance...

Thanks again to La Brisa Photography for letting me come along and help capture this special day for Jason and Bethany! Congrats and good luck in the future Jason and Bethany!
