Mark and Kelly--Married!

September 18th, I had the opportunity to shoot another wedding with Kristen of Kristen Murphy Photography...she is amazing and has some amazing clients! Mark and Kelly definitely fall into that category! Their day just seemed to be flawless...you could just tell how in love they were throughout the day. Kelly's bouquet was absolutely stunning...it had so many different flowers. Congrats again to Mark and Kelly and thank you Kristen for letting me help you capture their day! Brent and Kim---Married!!!

On September 4th, Brent and Kim got married! I was so excited to be there for their big day. I had also done their engagement pictures which you can see here. While we took their engagement pictures in the rain, I was hoping for them that their big day would be gorgeous...and it was! Their ceremony was gorgeous, which was followed by an awesome limo ride, some tailgating and then the reception! Let me just say...they had a fun wedding party! Here are some of my favorites from their day and thank you Brent and Kim for letting me be a part of your big day!

Mariah-Class of 2011

So, I might be a little behind on my blogging since I have been taking so many pictures lately, which is AWESOME! But anyways, back to Mariah, my 3rd Class of 2011 Senior. We took Mariah's pictures in Wamego and had a great time. She had so many ideas and outfits to pick from! I cannot believe how active she is in sports...she is playing Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, and Softball. We started off at the boat dock, headed out to her friend's house and then on to Pillsbury Crossing. Thank you Mariah for letting me take your Senior Pictures and good luck in the future! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Brad and Kristin!

On August 28th, I had the opportunity to shoot another wedding with Chris of La Brisa Photography. I also met another local photographer, Kami of Orange Peel Photography, who was second shooting Brad and Kristin's wedding too. So, for those of you who don't know me...I am a wee-bit directionally challenged, especially when driving. If the sun is not straight up, I can usually figure out the directions, but I easily get lost when somewhere new/different. Let's just say I got lost on my way to Brad and Kristin's wedding...several times. I had printed out 4 maps (yes FOUR) and still got lost. I stopped at a gas station in Louisburg and asked for directions...it was not the most helpful direction giving--I had to spell out the street I was trying to find, Elm St. I finally arrived after taking a different path than I had planned, but it got me there. After the ceremony we quickly took the family pictures and then headed on to the reception. The reception was at the St. Andrew's Golf Club in Overland Park. They took some gorgeous and fun pictures out on the golf course while their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. The dance floor started out hopping...there was an older couple showing off their moves, which were awesome! This wedding had the best garter retrieval EVER!!! Here are some of my favorite images from the day:
