On August 28th, I had the opportunity to shoot another wedding with Chris of
La Brisa Photography. I also met another local photographer, Kami of Orange Peel Photography, who was second shooting Brad and Kristin's wedding too. So, for those of you who don't know me...I am a wee-bit directionally challenged, especially when driving. If the sun is not straight up, I can usually figure out the directions, but I easily get lost when somewhere new/different. Let's just say I got lost on my way to Brad and Kristin's wedding...several times. I had printed out 4 maps (yes FOUR) and still got lost. I stopped at a gas station in Louisburg and asked for directions...it was not the most helpful direction giving--I had to spell out the street I was trying to find, Elm St. I finally arrived after taking a different path than I had planned, but it got me there. After the ceremony we quickly took the family pictures and then headed on to the reception. The reception was at the St. Andrew's Golf Club in Overland Park. They took some gorgeous and fun pictures out on the golf course while their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. The dance floor started out hopping...there was an older couple showing off their moves, which were awesome! This wedding had the best garter retrieval EVER!!!
