Ray and Ashley-Engaged!

I had the pleasure of taking engagement pictures for Ashley and Ray. November 8, 2009 we met at the Wamego City Park to take some pictures. It was a bright and sunny morning, but was beautiful out with all of the fall colors around us. The morning was full of laughs and lots of smiles. I had a lot of fun taking engagement pictures as well as wedding pictures this past week for Ashley and Ray. I will have a preview of the wedding pictures within a couple of days. Thank you Ray and Ashley for letting me take your pictures at such a special time in your lives! Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Monica and Tyler

So, Monica and Tyler wanted to take a couple more engagement pictures in the fall...the colors are just so beautiful with the leaves changing and falling from the trees. We first headed out to the Oregon Trail Park...it was a little chilly out and even started to rain a little bit, but it was a great time. We did make a friend a long the way...as we were walking up and around the trail through the trees a dog came down to visit us from the neighboring house....the dog followed us around for a little while and even jumped up on me! I am sure glad the dog jumped on me to get me dirty and not Monica or Tyler! After that, we went to the Wamego City Park. The leaves were just right. It was a great day...I had an amazing time with them! Here are some of my favorites!

Photo Updates

I have been busy taking pictures lately, just haven't had time to post very many yet. I am going to post a couple of teasers from some sessions lately.

Jeff and Starla's Senior Pictures....We started the day out at Pillsbury and then headed over to the K-State Campus.

Also, Monica and Tyler decided that they wanted to do some fall pictures since the colors outside are so beautiful...so here are a couple shots from their fun session!

I am very excited that I have the privilege to shoot Ashley and Ray's Wedding at the end of December.....I sure hope the weather stays as nice as it has been lately for their day! We went to the Wamego City Park on a Sunday morning to shoot some engagement pictures....here are some of my favorites!

Tyler & Monica Engagement Pictures--July 12, 2009

After we finished the Manly family pictures, Monica, Tyler and I headed out to take some engagement pictures. Monica has been my best friend for many years and Tyler was my neighbor while growing up, so it was really fun to get to take their pictures. Other than the excessive heat and humidity, it was a great time! Since they met at Wamego High School that is where we started. We also went to Brown Chevrolet in Wamego, K-State campus and the train bridge. Congrats on being engaged and I can't wait for our next photo shoot! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Jeremy & Krystal are Engaged!!!--July 3, 2009

Jeremy and Krystal asked me to take their engagement pictures and I happily agreed to! We decided to go to the train bridge and Pillsbury Crossing. I was a little worried when it started out rainy in the early morning, but by the time we got there the rain had stopped and we were ready to go. They were just so happy and laughed so much....it was a great time! Thank you Jeremy and Krystal for letting me take your engagment pictures and good luck in the future! APW V--June 28, 2009

Aspiring Photographer Workshop V was held Sunday, June 28th by Chris from La Brisa Photography (www.labrisaphotography.com). I was not able to stay the whole time, but had a great time while I was there! The location for this shoot was on the K-State campus. We had two sets of models this time. Kelli and Tyler had recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary. Meagan and Dalton were our other models and they are dating. It was really fun to get to use unique props like you see in the first picture! Here are several of my favorites from the evening:

APW III-April 26, 2009

So, I know April was a little while ago, but I thought I would try to start from then to now with my pictures. Chris of La Brisa Photography (http://www.labrisaphotography.com/) has been hosting Aspiring Photographer Workshops and I attended my first one April 26th really early in the morning. This was his 3rd APW he hosted. We were shooting engagement pictures for Jacob and Amber, who are friends of his. We took the pictures at the train bridge in Manhattan, KS.
